Middle & Senior School Events: June 18 – 30, 2010

Friday, June 18

• Grade 7 exams.
• March Break 2011 Humanities Trip: Commitment deadline for Tour of Canadian Battlefields in Europe. Students will be able to participate in a commemorative ceremony and enhance their understanding of the actions taken in the past to bring us peace.

Monday, June 21

• Senior exams continue.
• Grade 6 to Dairy Queen (pdf): Please bring $5 and return consent form to Ms. Tweedie by June 18.
• Used Book Intake (Day 1 of 2): 1:00 – 5:00pm in Auditorium. Canadian School Book Exchange representatives will be present.
• Run for the Cure 2010 Campaign planning meeting: 1:30 – 3:00pm  in Room 228, Senior School. All parents welcome. Tuesday, June 22

• Used Book Intake (Day 2 of 2): 8:00am – 12:00pm in Auditorium. Canadian School Book Exchange representatives will be present.
• Last day Senior School exams.

Thursday, June 24

• Textbook ordering for 2010 – 2011 can be done through Canadian School Book Exchange as of June 16.
• Middle School Closing Ceremony:  2:00pm in gym.

Friday, June 25

• Senior School Closing Ceremony: 7:00pm in gym.

Sunday, June 27 – 30

• Duke of Edinburgh Gold Expedition

Used Textbook Intake

We will be having a used textbook intake on Monday, June 21 from 1-5 pm and June 22 from 8:00am –12:00 pm in the Senior School Auditorium. Used textbooks will be accepted on consignment. Monday June 28, 5:00  – 7:00pm – Intake day
The following items will be accepted: blazers, skirts, tunics, polos, skorts, track jackets and pants, gym shorts, fleece jackets, sweaters, vests, cardigans, grey pants, grey hoodies, green sweatpants, ties.  Some items will be accepted on consignment.

All items should be in good condition with no rips, holes, stains, pulls, pilling, or missing buttons.

Good Life Fitness in Ottawa is offering free membership to teens aged 14 - 17 from July 2 - August 31, from 8:00am - 4:00pm. You must register online--you will them receive a complete registration form in your email inbox. Complete this form, print it off and bring it with you.
