Friday, February 3

  • French Club (Grades 4-5) 12:25-12:55 p.m. in the French Room with Mme Gavan and M Ouimet.
  • Hip Hop (Grades 4-5) 12:25-12:55 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room with Anisha D. and Erin C. (Sr. students).
  • Competitive Robotics Club 12:25-12:55 p.m. in the Computer Lab with Ms. Holmes and Mr. Perreault.
  • Cafeteria Special: Beef Stroganoff with egg noodles.

Monday, February 6

  • Gr. 5/6 basketball practice: 7:15 a.m.
  • Music and Drama Club (Grade 4s) 10:20-10:40 a.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room with Mrs. Wakeham.
  • Fibonacci Math Contest Club (Grade 4-5) 12:25-12:55 p.m. in the Grade 5 classroom with Ms. Wiegand.
  • Ballet in the Multi-Purpose Room with Ms. Filleul.  Junior Kindergarten class runs from 3:30-4:15 p.m., Senior Kindergarten from 3:30-4:30 p.m., followed by Grades 1 to 5 from 4:30-5:30 p.m.  Don’t forget to bring your ballet attire to school.
  • Cafeteria Special: Cheese tortellini with rose sauce (enriched with vegetable puree).

Tuesday, February 7

  • Blue Spruce (Grades 1-2) 12:25-12:55 p.m. in the Library with Mrs. Blackadar and Ms. Huggins.
  • Multi-Sport (Grades 1-5) 12:25-12:55 p.m. in the big Gym with Ms. MacDougall.
  • ENNews (Grades 4-5) 12:25-12:55 p.m. in the Computer Lab with Ms. Holmes and Mr. Perreault.
  • House Council (Grade 5) 12:25-12:55 p.m. in the Grade 5 classroom with Joanna Z. (Sr. student).
  • Chess Club (Grades 1-5) 3:30-4:30 p.m. in the Library with an instructor from Chess n’ Math Association.
  • No Backstage Club after school due to a staff meeting.
  • Cafeteria Special: Thai turkey stir-fry with rice.

Wednesday, February 8

  • Jiu-jitsu (Grades 1-5) 12:25-12:55 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room with an instructor from Therien Martial Arts.
  • Silver Birch (Grades 4-5) 12:25-12:55 p.m. in the Library with Mrs. Blackadar and Ms. Huggins.
  • Math Magicians (Grade 5) 12:25-12:55 p.m. in the Grade 5 classroom with Ms. Holmes and Ms. Wiegand.
  • Gr. 5/6 basketball practice: 4 p.m.
  • Note: Chime Choir will begin on February 15th.
  • Note: Drums Etc. will begin on February 15th.
  • Cafeteria Special: Sloppy Joes with carrot sticks and dip.

Thursday, February 9

  • Yoga and Meditation (Grades 3-5) 12:25-12:55 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room with Ms. Meadowcroft.
  • Spelling (Grades 3-5) 12:25-12:55 p.m. in the Library with Ms. Strachan and Mrs. Brownlie.
  • Robotics Club (Grades 4-5) 12:25-12:55 p.m. in the Grade 5 classroom with Ms. Wiegand.
  • Competitive Robotics Club 12:25-12:55 p.m. in the Computer Lab with Ms. Holmes and Mr. Perreault.
  • No Ukulele Club after school due to the Grade 4-5 musical.
  • Swim Training (Grades 3-5) 3:35-5:35 p.m. with Ms. Huggins at St. Laurent Pool (525 Coté Street off St. Laurent Blvd.). Don’t forget your swimsuit, goggles (essential), bathing cap (recommended), towel and a hairbrush.
  • Grade 4-5 musical “Theseus and the Minotaur”, 7:00 p.m. in the Auditorium.
  • Cafeteria Special: Sesame salmon with broccoli and noodles.

Friday, February 10

  • Ocean Commotion – In celebrating “Spirit Week”, students can come to school dressed in the “ocean” theme (for example, a pirate, a mermaid, a fish, a sailor, or wear blue and/or green to school. (optional)

Use of Back Gate: Safety Concern

If you are entering/exiting the school field by the back gate, please can you help us to keep the gate closed at all times? This will help to ensure the safety of our younger students while they play on the field at recess. Thank you.

On Saturday, February 11th we invite interested families and friends to come meet our staff, students and parents, tour the school and hear about how we inspire each girl to reach her full potential.
