Junior School Events: June 18 – 30, 2010

FRIDAY, JUNE 18

•    Dad’s Breakfast (pdf) hosted by Junior and Senior Kindergarten: 9:00 a.m. in the dining room.
•    Junior School Parting Picnic in the afternoon. Students are to come to school dressed in their House colours for this special event. The picnic will take place on the grounds at Rideau Hall from noon-2:00 p.m. Please return the consent form by Wednesday, June 16.

MONDAY, JUNE 21

•    Run for the Cure meeting -We have a number of new and exciting events planned for our 2010 fundraising, but we can’t be successful without your help. Please join us at our next meeting on Monday, June 21 from 1:30-3:00 p.m. in the Senior School, Room 228.  RSVP Danielle May-Cuconato at (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). TUESDAY, JUNE 22

•    Last day of school (regular dismissal times).

Junior School Closing Ceremony: June 23

Junior School Closing Ceremony begins at 2:00 p.m. in the Senior School Gymnasium. Members of the Chime Choir are to meet Mrs. Wiley in the Gymnasium for a rehearsal at 12:30 p.m. sharp.  All other Junior School students should arrive at school no later than 1:30 p.m. and go directly to their homeroom. Parents are asked to proceed directly to the Gymnasium once they have dropped off their daughter(s).
Dress code: Number one summer uniform is compulsory (tunic, short-sleeve blouse, green socks, black shoes (no sandals).

Used Uniform Intake and Sale: June 28/29

Monday, June 28 (5-7 p.m.) - Intake day (Multi-Purpose Room)
The following items will be accepted: blazers, skirts, tunics, polos, skorts, track jackets and pants, gym shorts, fleece jackets, sweaters, vests, cardigans, grey pants, grey hoodies, green sweatpants, ties.  Some items will be accepted on consignment. All items should be in good condition with no rips, holes, stains, pulls, pilling, or missing buttons.

Tuesday, June 29 (5-8 p.m.) - Used Uniform Sale (Multi-Purpose Room)

Textbook Ordering: Current Grade 5 Students Only

Textbook ordering for 2010-2011 can be done through Canadian School Book Exchange as of June 16.

Lost and Found

Please check the Lost and Found before the summer holidays. Items left over after June 23 will be donated to the Salvation Army. Uniform items will be sent to the Uniform Shop for donation or consignment.
